@cycleranger European here. I also think the 2% should be met. I rather have a European army without any weapons of the US though. Not one cent should go to the US military industrial complex. We should also make our own semiconductor industry, because ASML in Europe makes the new technology. It would set back American tech companies back 15 years and to exist they would've to move to Europe. We need them to build weapons anyway. Silicone valley would be in Europe. It would also protect us from China and Russia to invade Europe by giving China our tech instead of the US. Trump also didn't really think this through with inflation and refugees from Europe if they wage a war with Russia and lose. There's 500 million people in western Europe. Lots of them will come to America by any means necessary. The US would be the only western country to go and it isn't hard to dig tunnels underneath the wall with millions of people. I would go by boat myself and swim ashore. Very effective and unstoppable for the US. Many Americans have family in Europe. Is he gonna refuse them to come into the US? His own wife is European. Inflation would go sky high on everything from Europe and energy prices will be 10x higher. The market would crash too. The US would get all the illegal refugees that now come to Europe on top of it too.

Very curious how he's gonna stop 500 million war refugees from Europe coming by boats and swim ashore. Also how he's gonna keep inflation low if he loses a 24 trillion European market. Also refugees that came to Europe will now come to the US. He didn't thing this through as usual.

New trade war incoming if Trump becomes president. Higher inflation and maybe ASML in Europe pulls their semiconductor machines to put US technology 15 years back in time. If Russia takes over Europe the US would lose a 20 trillion EU market. The energy prices will skyrocket if all of Europe is at war. The self proclaimed president of peace and unity. What a joke! His own wife would lose her country. Millions of Americans have family and roots in Europe. Imagine the millions of European refugees coming to America. Is America gonna refuse all those European family members into America? 448 million people live in the EU. 67.5 million in Great Britain. 8,7 million in Switserland. What would JFK or Ronald Reagan say about this move by republicans?

Is Trump gonna aid Ukraine if we pay the 2%!? That's my question. Otherwise we need that money for weapons manufacturing and a European army. It would be very useless to pay 2% and then let Russia annex European territory.

@jamiecook8239 Joke right!? Russia already had Crimea. Ukraine was already invaded. Russian soldiers Ukrainians called "the Little Green men" without tags were already at war in Ukraine. The Russian BUKsystem they shot the MH17 plane down with above Ukraine is still in Russia and the investigation exposed that orders came from the Kremlin and even to Wagner. A plane full of NATO citizens by the way.
