  1. Of course not. If you rely on imports and you export the product it's better to go to another country to avoid the tariff. If you buy american and sell in America then yes. It will make everything very expensive though. Cheap parts from other countries is gone. A car factory is f'ed. You can avoid the tariff by setting your car factory in another country to avoid the tariff. You can also offset the tariff by going to a country with cheap labor. You're gonna deport millions of cheap labor too. I'll guess GenZ with a TikTok account is gonna do hard cheap labor. Reciprical import tax is a trade war. Nobody wins in a trade war.

  2. Buy a Tesla with a battery from China or the Trump bible from China. Elon Musk has 8 European cars and Trump has 4 by the way. Don't think rich people are gonna buy a new Mustang over a Ferrari, Zonda, Rolls Royce or Bugatti. Melania isn't gonna drop her Louis Vuitton bags or Dior dresses anytime soon.

Musk his Gigafactory in China makes him 23% of his total revenue by the way. He won't be buying the tariff because he makes the car in China avoiding the tariff. See what the problem is. You will lose factories. If Trump really goes after the companies they put their factory in Malaysia or somewhere else to avoid the tariff and ship to China. Import relying companies will move their business somewhere else. You get the reverse effect. Multinationals can avoid these tariffs. In the end the US is only 330 million people market and there are 8.2 billion on earth.

  7. You thought we in Europe would pay the tariff as exporter, do the administration, police it for you and then send the tariff money to the US? 😂😂😂😂 That would be something else. We call it import tax. That bill you get from your own customs. It's just a tax. The best thing is that multinationals avoid it by setting up shop in the country they export the end product to. Small businesses can't do that. You would lose jobs and the billionaires will make more money. Don't worry, GenZ is gonna do the hard cheap labor because Trump is gonna deport the cheap labor by the millions. Good luck America.
