  3. Last Ukraine big aid package of 44 billion was February 2023. If the US want to weigh in on what we do in Europe, they should give aid first. Meanwhile the US made 238 billion in selling weapons and ammo to foreign nations in 2023. Double the amount the Russians pay for their entire army. Stock market records in the US. I wonder why!? We need to make our own weapons Europe and fast. Do not buy US.

  8. It were actually the NATO countries below 2% gdp who were most offended. We are the ones who fought on the side of the US since NATO existed. The ones you said were all above the 2%, but are all late into NATO. They actually probably loved that comment. I was very offended as a Iraq veteran of the Dutch army, but he already offended me by calling us suckers and losers. I think it should be more than 2%, but buying European weapons, not US weapons. A good weapon industry is what we lack in Europe. Trump is saying that so we buy more weapons from the US. That's actually how the US got rich. The US wasn't a rich country before the war or had a huge industry. Japan had a bigger army than the US too. The US also won the Midway battle getting very lucky. A massive mistake by a Japanese commander and lost allied pilots that found the Japanese ships by sheer luck.

  9.  @barrybrodin7085  Tank aren't that effective anymore. Russia had the most tanks of the world and a simple drone can destroy it. It's not that they make big gains with their tanks at all. Same with destroyers. They're basically sitting ducks in the ocean. Only aircraft carriers and submarines remain king for a forward operation with fighter jets and bombers.

  12. Most of that 238 billion is from Europe. My country the Netherlands gave away all F16s and bought F35s. We gave away Patriots too and bought new ones. We bought 37 F35s after we gave away our F16s to Ukraine. One F35 is worth a 100 million dollars without ammo.

  19.  @cmtwgrdk2748  The problem is my country the Netherlands also delivers F16s, but they are officially owned by the US. Same as yours. All these subcontractors have US shareholders. Making them US tied, not European tied. We need to ask the US first if we want to do anything with them. European tax money is also used to make the F16s. We need to stop that. We need to put that in our own weaponry. The republicans are saying we don't pay enough. I don't know about you, but i pay a 38% income tax and a 21% sales taxes. Above 70000 euro's it's 50% income tax. Gasoline is twice as high as the US. Salaries are higher in the US too and houses are more expensive in my country for half the size on average. I don't even have free healthcare and education. I'm a veteran too and served in Iraq. I'm extremely disappointed in the US. I'm paying myself for new f35s my country ordered from the US. My country lost also 193 people in the MH17 crash by a Russian BUK system from the 53rd brigade of the Russian Federation. A article 5 moment by the way. More people than the Moscow attack. If these victims were US citizens Ukraine would be free.

We send more and fast, but people deserve to know the US made over 400 billion by selling weapons to foreign nations the last 2 years, especially Americans themselves. That 44 billion was also mostly old weaponry and ammo. Also cluster munition they didn't use. We got countries like Poland getting praise for spending so much on defense, but they bought all foreign weapons. They also took ammo manufacturers from the US in their country, not European ones. Fine when you've full support from the US, but if Trump says jump, Poland has to say how high. I'll get that Poland needed it fast, but US ammo factories are useless to the EU with this America. We got no say in what we give to Ukraine too with US weaponry. They've to sign off everything. Trump could even demand the F16s back. I do not want one cent to go to the US from my tax money. I want all European weapons and ammo for that extra GDP in NATO.

  23. The US only took 1610 ukrainian refugees in 2022. Europe took 8 million refugees. Same thing applies to Syrian, Afghan and Iraqi refugees. That's even more shameful than not sending a tank. Don't beat yourself up too much.

  25. My country the Netherlands has the biggest gasfield in Europe and are the second biggest exporter of agricultural goods in the world after the US. More than Russia!!! The yield per square feet is the highest in the world. Fighting for food is definitely not a issue. I pay 15 euro's in the month for my drinking water at home if you were wondering. How the hell do you get beat up for being Russian in the Netherlands anyways!? She looks like a average Dutch person. You need to wear a big Z on your back or wave a Russian flag.

  31. What we should do as Europe is send 1 million of the refugees from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan to the US border to make a point to Donald Trump. We put the text on the boats.. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. With a picture of the statue of liberty. That would definitely make headlines. We have 21 million refugees in Europe from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan in Europe we pay for. 6 million from Ukraine on top of that. The US only has taken 3.5 million refugees since the year 1975. The contrast is insane. One time we ask in Europe for help in 70 years of NATO and it isn't boots on the ground, but just money and this is what we're up against with the republicans.

  36. I was in the Dutch military and we lost a nightscope after closing our foxholes in training. Worst day of my life! We dug holes to the center of the earth. It started raining too. Never found it back. If a commanding officer stole that thing we would've probably killed him.

  44.  @MrZenGuitarist  Not yet part of NATO! I don't think the German politicians are corrupted by Russia. They did a lot already until now. I think it's more the mindset of the German people because of their history of war. The word Nazi is also being used a lot in Russia. They really don't want to be the ones to escalate this war. I really think in the end Leopard tanks will get the OK from Germany though.

The Soviet Union was terrible to them. Imagine dividing your country by Hitler and Stalin and be under Soviet occupation after that for over 50 years killing millions of Polish people.

  49.  @sandymastermind2669  The alternative is to do nothing and just wait until Russian soldiers knock on your door and put a gun to you children's head to make you vote for Russia in a referendum. Because he won't ever stop. Don't think he will stop at Ukraine. Hitler did the same thing at the start of WW2. Putin said already he want the Soviet Union back. He attacked Kyiv at the start of the war but he said he just wanted the Donbass. He even lied to his own soldiers that they just could walk in. He killed people on western soil. He killed somebody in the US and the UK. We should've sanctioned Russia back then and build our army's. We are letting him get away with murder for too long. The Russian constitution says that all of Russia should vote in a referendum to separate a province from Russia. Just like the Ukrainian constitution. So according to Russian law a referendum of a Donbass/Crimea would've been illegal too. Imagine what Putin would've done to a province like the Donbass. People would be hanging from trees. He would killed millions if he had too. There's no deal to be made with Putin. You can't trust him. He needs to feel the strength of NATO to make him stop.
