Last Ukraine big aid package of 44 billion was February 2023. If the US want to weigh in on what we do in Europe, they should give aid first. Meanwhile the US made 238 billion in selling weapons and ammo to foreign nations in 2023. Double the amount the Russians pay for their entire army. Stock market records in the US. I wonder why!? @cmtwgrdk2748 The problem is my country the Netherlands also delivers F16s, but they are officially owned by the US. Same as yours. All these subcontractors have US shareholders. Making them US tied, not European tied. We need to ask the US first if we want to do anything with them. European tax money is also used to make the F16s. We need to stop that. We need to put that in our own weaponry. The republicans are saying we don't pay enough. I don't know about you, but i pay a 38% income tax and a 21% sales taxes. Above 70000 euro's it's 50% income tax. Gasoline is twice as high as the US. Salaries are higher in the US too and houses are more expensive in my country for half the size on average. I don't even have free healthcare and education. I'm a veteran too and served in Iraq. I'm extremely disappointed in the US. I'm paying myself for new f35s my country ordered from the US. My country lost also 193 people in the MH17 crash by a Russian BUK system from the 53rd brigade of the Russian Federation. A article 5 moment by the way. More people than the Moscow attack. If these victims were US citizens Ukraine would be free.

@Micha-qv5uf I don't mind giving aid to Ukraine. We send more and fast, but people deserve to know the US made over 400 billion by selling weapons to foreign nations the last 2 years, especially Americans themselves. That 44 billion was also mostly old weaponry and ammo. Also cluster munition they didn't use. We got countries like Poland getting praise for spending so much on defense, but they bought all foreign weapons. They also took ammo manufacturers from the US in their country, not European ones. Fine when you've full support from the US, but if Trump says jump, Poland has to say how high. I'll get that Poland needed it fast, but US ammo factories are useless to the EU with this America. We got no say in what we give to Ukraine too with US weaponry. They've to sign off everything. Trump could even demand the F16s back. I do not want one cent to go to the US from my tax money. I want all European weapons and ammo for that extra GDP in NATO.
