A average salary in NZ is $39079. American dollars btw. That would definitely leave people homeless. You're homeless on a average salary. To compare that to the Netherlands where we also have a huge housing crisis. A average house costs $415294 and the average salary is $41315. You can't even get a mortgage with half the house prices here. How the hell do you buy a house when you need a mortgage on at least $700000?

  4. It's the Netherlands, not Holland. North Holland is the province Amsterdam is in. It's like calling the US New York state. We have the only company that makes the technology for the newest semiconductors, yes. Without us the whole US economy would collapse. Lots of shareholders all over the world in this company. Samsung, Blackrock, TSMC and Intel for instance. It's maybe time to nationalize it though if Trump gets elected this time.

  7.  @adk7439  That works until property value drops. I see property value went down last year. That's good for the rest of the people. That tax law needs to go though. In the Netherlands big multinational companies don't pay tax at all. They all made secret deals with the government. It attracts big business, but also prevents our own companies to grow in many cases. They can't compete at all. We always say that multinationals pay 1% tax, but we don't actually know. Family inheritance tax is probably the worst loophole in Dutch tax. People don't pay inheritance tax if they own a family business. They can put all their money into their business and they evade inheritance tax. That's why most rich people in the Netherlands stay rich. A lot of old money in the Netherlands. Everyone else has to give up 40%.

Hungary is letting Chinese people in, so they will have a lot of mixed families. America was never a white country, so what are you talking about there. Orban let carmaker BYD in, has a joint police force with Chinese police in Hungary, a Chinese university and is part of Chinese new belt and road. Opened immigration for Chinese and Russians now too. Trump was 4 years complaining about the EU and trade with China as president Orban is letting the Chinese in the EU single market. Orban also has a social economic agenda. Orban is not a capitalist. He banned doctors from private healthcare and public travel for old people is free. That's the only thing i like about him. They aren't even christian in China too. Trump and Orban shouldn't be friends in politics at all.

  9.  @kiwimave  The Netherlands is the second biggest agricultural exporter in the world. I know that for 250 million euro's of meat products go to Australia every year. I'm guessing NZ too. Tomatoes, cheese(goudse cheese), beer(Heineken), flowers and other products also come from the Netherlands. In Cheese and tomatoes we're number 1 exporter in the world. On alcohol we're second of the world after Mexico. It's still expensive in the Netherlands because of tax. In Belgium and Germany our own products are cheaper. It's really crazy we export meat to a country like Australia. They got so many space to farm compared to us. We actually got the housing problem because we are at the max of emissions in the EU. We don't build houses because of emission while our meat goes to countries who have all the space. I would say buy farmland in NZ and farm there, but i don't wanna know what's that gonna cost. Tomatoes don't grow in the Netherlands. That's all greenhouse. Not good for emissions too.

We make more here and the house price is half of that in NZ. On a doctors salary you can't even get a mortgage in NZ. Here you can. In the US a average salary is at least 50000 dollars. A lot higher. The average house price in the US is $543,600 Around a million is the average! That's incredibly high. Even for western standards

  11.  @kangkim150  We aren't dependent on ASML like Taiwan in the Netherlands and have the EU market. Our biggest export is agricultural exports. The second biggest after the US actually. You are not gonna eat our food? Want to start a tariff war on food? Very bad idea for everybody and it would actually make us money. We are covered my friend. Oil is not the same. Everybody has oil. There's just one ASML machine and we can ask what we want. We could ask a trillion dollars. I'm not kidding. Let the bidding war begin between nations! China would pay good money for semiconductor control. The lasers come from the US of the machine. Guess who bought the company who made the lasers in the US and most of their supply chain? ASML owns it. I'm sure the Chinese could reverse engineer that blueprint considering they make more lasers than the US. Germany makes the lenses at Zeiss. Our biggest ally in Europe. We even have a joint tank battalion with Germany. Don't expect much help from them. They would benefit massively from making chips too. Those are the most important parts.

  12.  @startarot5876  It's not really growing. Hungary exceeds the budget deficit every year. It's growth by debt. They had in 2023 the second highest budget deficit of the EU after Italy. Germany economy has bad growth numbers but paid of 12% debt in 6 years. Hungary also uses it's own currency and not the Euro. The Euro is a way stronger currency for investments. Hungary is not backed by the value of the Euro. In a crisis the Hungarian Forinth stands alone. There's no EU country that will give them a one cent loan. Only at high interest rates. It's a very weak currency. Hungary is dependent on loans outside the EU. Especially Chinese loans.

The average US citizen makes more money yes, but don't have any of the social rights that rich European countries have. Rights like a roof over your head, education and healthcare. European countries get a month payed vacation time and work 10 hours a week less. Even countries like Bulgaria or Romania have better work\living standards than the US. The average percentile of middleclass citizens is also much higher in European countries like Norway. For instance the minimum wage is 20 dollars a hour. In the US it's 8 dollars. It's not even a battle! The US is more of a third world country compared on work\living standards. The GDP to debt in the EU is also 20% lower than the US. This is with healthcare and education for most countries. Again the EU is winning. To conclude.. The average US citizen gets payed more, but not much more. The European works less. The European gets free healthcare and education for that money. The European gets parental leave for man or woman. 4 weeks of payed vacation time.

They were fully France. Number one language in Africa is French too. France also has territories over the world too right now. Many of them not white. For instance Mbappe and Zidane both have a parent from Algeria. Their parents came from the days of French Algeria. If my country would stop selling ASML machine and nationalize it to get US shareholders out they would all fall in the US. Maybe make Trump reconsider aid to Ukraine and stop inviting Orban.
