@vanman9607 Here in the Netherlands our supreme court appoint judges. They appoint there own supreme judges too. The politicians make the laws and judges judge them on the basis of our constitution or laws. If you've conflicting laws a judge can rule out one. Politicians do sometimes ignore a judge his decision and then a civilian can sue the state. Most things are done by voting for or against that party that made that law. That's the beauty of a multiparty system. You have way more flavors and 99% of the time it's bipartisan, unless your party has more than 50% of the votes. Which not happens that often. Almost never. I think only Hungary in the EU has more than 50%. Then just one party can rule. You can also vote strategically. When your favorite party is favorite to win and they are not that strong on immigration, than you can go for a party that does, so they can work together in one government. You can go more left or right with this. That's more of a gamble which issues they go for though.

You just need to copy the system of Germany. Do nothing else. Multiple party's, popular vote, gifts to politician are bribes, parlementary system, Judges are appointed by judges and debates in a few weeks instead of 4 years campaigning for billions of dollars. Also a way stronger union for workers. Germany has the best worker unions of the world. They don't mess around. They don't choice sides, if you take anything away from them the whole country will stop working. You would have Parental leave in the US tomorrow with a German workers union in the US. They will do the government shutdown.

You should do one of German workers unions. I'm curious about that and i'm a Dutch neighbor. Germany's worker unions are the strongest of the world with lots of power in companies. Never knew exactly how it works though. You mess with them and you will be very sorry.

She should do the German system for you.

The US is also more corrupt. Taken gifts in Europe means you go to jail as a politician in Europe and it also counts for judges.

@rogerd777 For the US it should if elections are always on a Tuesday in November on the same day. Here in Europe it can be all year on any date. Depend if a coalition government makes it.
