Which NATO laws, it's defense pact. European here. We are not paying because the US, but because of Russia. Ukraine will also have our support if the US leaves NATO. We would have to go into war economy mode. It will definitely hurt. We already allocated aid for Ukraine in the next 4 years in the EU. Weapons industries is being build. Even talks about more nukes are starting. First thing we do here if Trump leaves NATO or tries to make a deal with Ukraine is pull ASML semiconductor machines. That would wake the US up when the whole technology sector crashes. After that we will finally tax US businesses and social media companies that are operating tax free in Europe. We wanted to do that forever. After all of that we will make a deal with China. Which never was a enemy of Europe or NATO. Taiwan is your problem. China even gave some aid to Ukraine and trade with Ukraine. You do know what you're risking here. The US would be alone against China and allies with them having the semiconductor abilities. It's not even a fear fight.

@yiannimil1 European here. I would worry more about China. China is not a enemy of Europe. They gave some aid and still trade with Ukraine. China would choose Europe over Russia any day. We don't have any soldiers near China at all, never have. The US could be facing China and their allies alone. You would be a force with twice the weapons and nukes with two billion people. Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, North Korea and China VS the US. They all really hate America. Trump his whole America first is getting industrial businesses back from China, not from Europe. In Europe US business pays 0% profit tax. It's free business here. As soon if we've our weapons industry in order we gonna tax US corporations and social media companies. A thing we wanted to do forever. As Europe we could even make a deal with China for the ASML semiconductor technology and make Russia back down. In Biden his Chip act he made sure we sold the machines only to the US.
