Germany has been useless in supplying weapons.

@not-santa Germany is just one country. They did give a lot of aid, but not much weapons. Denmark and Latvia gave all their artillery shells to Ukraine for instance. You protect yourself. You barely pay taxes in the US by the way. The 7.25% sales tax and 20% income tax is nothing. It's why the US never will be great. Infrastructure will remain awful, healthcare will be too expensive and education will be bad. Debt will stay high too. I pay 38% and 21% sales tax in the Netherlands. Above 75000 euro's it's 49% tax for a single person. This is why in Europe things are much better. I'm totally for making a much bigger weapons industry in Europe. I'm also for cooperation. Alone the US would be very weak. The BRICS countries would definitely grab the opportunity. I see a lot of comments by Americans like yours and it seems like they think we've no army. We've more active soldiers in the EU than the US. That's without Great Britain. It's weapons and ammo we lack. We mostly by weapons from the US. PS. The US weapons industry made 238 billion by selling weapons to foreign nations last year and only gave 44 billion to Ukraine in 2023. It's not our fault in Europe you don't see that money.
