  1.  @david-bd6td  ASLM is only giving China the older chipmachines. The newer chipmachines go to TSMC Taiwan, Europe, South Korea and to intel US. TSMC Samsung and intel are also huge investors of ASML. They can't lose. Precisely to cripple countries like China. It's just a matter of ramping up production. If you make enough of the newer chips the demand for the older chips that China makes goes away. They will be forced to slow down production. The more chips we make, the less China sells. That's what it means when you've technological advantage.

  2. In the end it's gonna be Europe because of ASML. If they pull their machines from other continents they put them 10 years behind.

China only makes the older technology chips by the way. Their production may be high, but if the west ramps up production of the newer chips eventually the demand of China's chips is gonna fade.
