  2.  @fightback397  Thailand and Vietam are countries that align with China for many years. Did you miss the Vietnam war? Just recently the west started to invest in those countries. Now they are growing like crazy. Myanmar is now aligning with Russia. Not a country you wanna be in now.

To be the president he had a runoff election, which means they were at a deadlock and had to vote twice. His party is called the Nigerien Party for Democracy and Socialism. Can it get more democratic than that?
