I blame their flood defense which was apparently non existent. The Dutch had zero casualties last year in the European floods because of their flood defenses. You knew this was coming.

@obinator9065 The bigger the country is, the better your floodcontrol can be. You can redirect water to open plains. That's how the Dutch do it. The Netherlands are one of the most dense populated countries on earth. More land is a major advantage for floodcontrol. The GDP of Pakistan is $347.743 billion. The Deltaworks of the Netherlands costs 5 billion.The damage is at least 20× more expensive. No excuses!!! What do you wanna do? Spend 1.5% of gdp a year on flooddefenses or let it happen again next year!? You call the Dutch for flood defenses. We fix your problems in no time. We've got the expertise. @Dr-Explorer They're so severe because they don't have flooddefenses like the Dutch. For how much we are betting that they gonna build flooddefenses now and people are gonna complain about their old flood defense in Pakistan?

@Dr-Explorer Natural disasters are gonna be more common. Doesn't mean the West has to pay for it. The west are the ones spending trillions of dollars for renewable energy. Domestically and abroad. The Paris agreement was made by the west. Without the west there would be no plan against climate change. Which country is the biggest polluter and builds the most. Yep China! China has double the pollution the US has and they're building cities and infrastructure like crazy. India the same thing. Building like crazy. Making everything even worse. 50% of the worlds pollution are all near Pakistan. Iran their neighbor didn't even sign the Paris agreement. China, with more than 10,065 million tons of CO2 released. United States, with 5,416 million tons of CO2 India, with 2,654 million tons of CO2 Russia, with 1,711 million tons of CO2 Japan, 1,162 million tons of CO2 Germany, 759 million tons of CO2 Iran, 720 million tons of CO2 South Korea, 659 million tons of CO2 Saudi Arabia, 621 million tons of CO2 Indonesia, 615 million tons of CO2 China&India should be the one paying Pakistan. They make more new pollution that they get back in renewables. The EU and the US are also not making cars on gas anymore by 2035. China has the biggest car industry in the world and they're building new gasstation everywhere. No plans for only Electric cars neither. India even got billions from the west for renewable energy.
