  1. Ever looked at debts of countries in Europe? Germany for instance.. 60% debt. They can borrow for 30 years and it wouldn't be as bad as the US. The EU average is 88% debt. What the difference is between the US and EU is that the EU set a 3% budget deficit for countries. The US just borrows and borrows. We raise and lower taxes to hold a 3% deficit. The US just borrows without looking at a deficit number. The US borrowed 11 trillion in 8 years. Half the gdp of the EU. That is not good. The EU paid off debt the last 8 year.
