That seems like the pivotal moment in Ukraine moving without brakes to the west and a declaration of war everything Ukrainian or pro west by Russia. Imagine how pissed off Ukrainians must have been for Viktor Yanukovych to cut the EU deal after talks with Putin. Just talks at all with Putin must have torture to watch by Ukrainians. The "coup" of Viktor Yanukovych that Putin talked about was a democratic vote in parliament after Viktor Yanukovych ordered to shoot protesters. 88 people died. NATO members have made mistakes for sure by saying Ukraine could join NATO eventually for sure. You need to understand that after 2004 asking to be part of NATO by Ukraine is because of oppression by the Russians.
