I do find it incredible that Russia only has a 1.5 trillion dollar economy. My country the Netherlands has a 1 trillion dollar economy and is about 0.1% the size of Russia.

@СергейМонин-д7с I have no doubt in my mind Russian spending is lower on rent and other things. That's why the also have shitty houses and cars. Russia has people living in huts my friend without any sewer or running water, we don't do that here. A 100€ isn't a 100€ for sure. The Ruble fell 40% against the Yuan, so a Euro is even more expensive for a Russian. Salaries are also much higher in the Netherlands.

@FrOsTIIDeAtH No of course not everybody lives in huts, but they still do though. Nobody is living that badly in the Netherlands. What i'm trying to say here is that quality of life in Russia doesn't even come close to West Europe. I even get 8% gross pay a year on top of my salary to go on vacation. That's 1500 Euro's a year to go on holiday sipping cocktails and watching senoritas from a beach chair for free. That's more than a average salary for a Russian in a month.
