  1. It's actually Russia who wants the resources of other countries. The USSR was a good example of that. The US could easily take all the resources of the middle east. If those wars were about resources they would never leave. Those wars costed the US trillions of dollars, they gained nothing. Putin invades part of countries and never leaves. Think of what Putin did after the sanctions. He witheld grain(resource) from the whole world. Hitting the poorest countries in Africa very hard.

  2. Why don't we attack the Americans directly is a great question. If expansion of NATO is such a big deal, why not attack NATO?! Nuclear war can't be a answer, because the one threatening nuclear war is Russia.
