With military aid and bombing raids from the US. The allies also won WW2 in the end. Who actually was worse is also a question you have to ask yourself. The Nazi's or the USSR. Stalin killed more people than Hitler and the USSR had to build a wall to keep people in, not out.

@Gregory-Masovutch NATO? No NATO soldiers are dying and they just have Finland in NATO. Finland even bought new HIMAR systems with the long range rockets to hit deep in Russia. St. Petersburg could be captured in minutes now. You're fighting a small nation with 47 million people without a navy or airforce, not the 1.2 trillion dollar army with 940 million people that is NATO.

@Gregory-Masovutch Let's compare this with Afghanistan operation enduring freedom. Which was a comparable nation with 40 million people. It took 5 weeks to take control of Afghanistan with only the UK, France and the US. No other NATO members. Bin laded had to escape within 3 weeks. That's what i call a special operation.

@mel124177 The mid-total of those killed in the camps during the Stalin years is 32,584,000 (less than 2,000,000 of these foreigners). Hitler killed 11 million in camps. Stalin killed the second most people in history after Mao Zedong. If you count the whole USSR period you will end up at a number close to 50 million.

@codaalive5076 This is only the people in labour camps. You know.. mass murder camps. The allied soldiers help you with bombing campaigns and money. We still haven't got a thank you for that by the way, but you're welcome. Where were the Russians when we defeated Japan and the whole pacific by the way? Africa? West Europe? From the start to the end of the war Russia only took half of Poland and half of Germany with help from the allies too i might add again

You do know using thermobaric weapons is a war crime. Russia used these in Syria to melt women and children.

That's a war crime using Thermobaric missiles. Unguided too. That is even worse. They used these on women and children in Syria. It melts your skin.

Using thermobaric missiles is a war crime, you know that right? It's actually slow because it melts your skin away.

@codaalive5076 It was known as the terror-famine. USSR scholars maybe working for Stalin. "Scholars universally agree that the cause of the famine was man-made." Those were only 3 to 5 million people. We've still got 30 million left if we don't count those. That is still 3x more than Hitler. I'm talking only in camps here. I'm not even talking attacks on Poles or Ukrainians. Then the highest estimate is 128 million killed by Stalin.
