A party for the evangelicals/Christians, a party for elderly people, a party for right socialist, a party for right capitalist, a party for animal, a party for the EU and so on. Then the party with the most seats forms a government to get 75 seats in parliament with working with other political party's. The US is way too divided because of this system. Lots of voters also vote tactically here. They vote more right or left to keep the country in check. Elections are a lot more about policies, not about name calling.

  32. Not much sense in economics in France. They already had a budget deficit of 5.8% last year and a debt of 112%. A 3% deficit is allowed and 60% debt to gdp. France is about to get fined too for exceeding the deficit and Le Pen promised tax cuts, while in reality France is going to have to cutback on spending for at least 10 years. They will also be put in economic quarantaine if they exceed the budget deficit again, which is very likely.
