Dutch genocide-r of Indonesians of the Aceh region was celebrated in 2018, by Dutch prime minister of the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy, Mark Rutte, who referred to him as “a visionary"!! According to a 2019 survey, half of Dutch citizens still viewed Dutch colonialism as a source of pride. By contrast, only 6 percent of individuals polled viewed Dutch colonialism as shameful!! Alarmingly, over half of the individuals surveyed viewed Dutch colonization as beneficial or benign for those in Dutch colonies!! No British, Dutch or European government has ever apologized for colonization, exploitation & genocide committed in Asia & around the world!!
