  1. NO!! Vivek is right & there is NO RISK in being transparent & TRUTHFUL!! Vivek has also said that Russia or US don't have to trust each other but they can trust each other to follow their national interests!! His plan is that Russia would have sever military tied with China in exchange of US/NATO : 1. Freezing the Ukrainian line of control & let Russia keep regions it occupied!! 2. Taking off anti Russia sanctions. 3. Resuming normal trade ties with Russia including EU-Russia. 4. Committing to NOT admit Ukraine in NATO!! This will be GOD SENT GIFT for Russia!! Meanwhile, China is no Russian friend in the long run!! China is a pathetic greedy nation that would INVADE & GRAB Russian lands when Russia is at it's weakest!!
