  1. The S430 and W220 is a proof of concept. It won't be as "sorted out" as future Mercedes because the S430 was the first edition. I would figure that the "average" S class would have had a V6. the S430 is a Grand Touring cruiser. Hit the highway, dial in 70 mph, and go all day. The cup holder? That is pure German. "Why make something? Just overengineer the heck out of it. Sorted."
