  2.  @furrysharker  Pelle Lindbergh of The Philadelphia Flyers. IIRC, he was rendered brain dead. Lindbergh had led The Flyers to The Stanley Cup Final a few months before his death. At 26, Lindbergh seemed poised to be a long time star. As a puck head, Lindbergh's demise cleared the way for Ron Hextall.
