  1. Ahh The J Gate shifter!! My mom had a 1987 XJ6 and that shifter caused so much controversy!! This car is the last proper Jag to me. A simple grand tourer with wood and leather for days. All hail the mono wiper. The combo of grunting V8 and whining blower sounds fantastic. The Mercedes wiper would be a four part multi-hinge because The Germans would overengineer a lunch box.
