  1. I too am disabled I can not afford to have my neck surgery where I have 3 ruptured discs . I had the low back done and with Medicare I still owe over 20k. I also am bipolar and schizophrenic and take meds that cost so much I met the stupid dough-nut hole in 1 month so I have to cut meds into 4ths . Just try to get along with the small amount you get, I worked from age 12 till 46 when I was hit I was making over `100k a year now ssdi 1k with 2 kids and wife that takes care of me.
