They should spend more time on better care for mental illness. Rather then spend so much time on preventing people with mental illness from getting guns. Ethan crumble was neglected from mental healthcare even though he wanted it. Instead his mother bought him a gun that he used to shoot up a school. If a person has never seen a psychiatrist or psychologist then they’re not in the mental health system and it leaves them an opportunity to take advantage and create mass shootings like so…….. such as Nicolas Cruze. He was never baker acted / 72 hour hold because he “didn’t fit the criteria” and was let loose. He did though and that’s the problem. He was never in a psych hospital and it made it easy for him to obtain a gun. They need to raise the gun laws too. Maybe 25? Since that’s when they say the brain is fully developed. It takes tell that age for the adolescent brain to fully develop which is why every kid that trialed as an adolescent is released by age 25
