  4. I don’t know if you’re in the US but here once they sign those papers it’s illegal to try and get a child back. If it’s through a lawyer and done legally it can’t happen with your adopted parent’s permission and then another legal sign has to be done. I was adopted at 8 weeks old and my parents went through their lawyer and that was that. There is absolutely no way someone can just get their kid back that easy. Even if they didn’t sign papers, after 1 year it’s considers abandonment and the adopted parents can legally adopt the child and once done the birth parents can’t go back and pop up and change their mind. My parents were never afraid because it was done legally a lawyer.

  5. I already knew that was a waste of time and so selfish. I was adopted and know how that works. It’s done legally and closed, it’s a done deal. There is no way to get the baby back. Making excuses to try and override it isn’t possible. Even if she was mentally unstable it doesn’t matter. It’s all up to the adopted parents now and I don’t think she is mentally stable now to even be around that baby. She would be so toxic. She seems to have a lot of issues she needs help with. She is still grieving the loss of her.
