  1. Swimming is for everyone in the US, as long as you don't go competitive. I've been doing lap swims in a very nice indoor community pool everyday, and I only pay $1 per day. And I don't wear special swimsuit. I consider myself a decent swimmer, but not a competitive one. I'm happy to swim for fun and fitness, and it's available to anyone in US.
