  2. Not really. The performance of DeepSeek still depends on the capabilities of their chips at hand. As long as the correlation remains positive, Nvidia chips are still in demand, in both China and US. What US should worry about is, if China manages to acquire or make chips as powerful as what the US has, their AI will be much more efficient and productive than US AI, which translates to global dominance in every industry. It's the end of US hegemony.
