If you wait until every variant have given out the death toll before making a decision, that consequences have already been done. It went from delta to omicron, various variant in between. And it will continue beyond Omicron. Eventually the luck will strike out and one of these variants will be deadly. Get vaccinated now, not for today variant, but for the future.

@mofo264 You thought wrong, pal. What a vaccine does depends on the method and the purpose which they research that vaccine to do. And in this case, it's not just about not getting sick. It's also about if you get sick, the sickness shall be less severe.

@izphilly1 The point is that the current vaccine shall increase the probability of future variant not hurting you as much. This can be seen in the actual data, the vaccine they developed using the original strain worked quite well against other strains. You need to be afraid, if you're not afraid of dying, you must be insanely stupid. Increasing the chance of death by 1% out of rebellious attitude against the government? Stupid choice.

@rolandthethompsongunner64 Taking baby steps, genius. If everybody just have the vaccine, it lowers the probability greatly. The all or nothing mentality is for losers. Life is ever changing, you can never be sure, you have to maximize probability.
