@objectivethinker3225 Hey, you completely subjective thinker. Yes, they will use the exact same labour to manufacture things in the US. If you actually know anything, the workers there are much, much more productive than the ones in the US. They're not just cheaper, they're cheaper and better. This is why education is very important, so you go get one. It's worldwide consensus that American labor are actually among the least productive ones worldwide.
The current labour input cost is between 12$ and 25$, you move it here and it will jump between 40-100$, and again, that's not the only increase, there's an increase in labour cost in every component that you want to manufacture in the US. And of course, an increase of 40-100 USD on the price of an Iphone, nearly 10% for absolutely no gain whatsoever for the consumers.

@objectivethinker3225 I don't know how naive you are but that's not how productivity is ranked and especially not in manufacturing. Whatever they were able to automate has already been automated, so homie, don't be desperate.
US manual labor workers are the least productive on Earth. Again, you need a much better education.
Exactly what productivity do you think the US workers have over the Chinese workers? Especially in manufacturing and assembly? Creativity? Buddy, that's adorable.
And yes, the price difference of Teslas in the US and China does depends on currency strength, which means that paying the same labor in dollar is much more expensive than in Yuan, leading to Teslas made in China is a lot cheaper. Exact same car, same software, same hardware, cheaper price.
So thank you for admitting your own ignorance, pretty bold move. Daddy Elon taught you well.

@objectivethinker3225 If you mean the videos posted on YouTube 10-12 years ago, which are films of factories built 20-30 years ago, yes, back then there was a significant difference.
Now, homeboy, the Chinese factories are much, much , much more advanced than the US steel factories, if there even exist US steel factories. They just don't post that on YouTube, because they don't use YouTube, they also have their own internet companies, much faster payment system, faster transportation, better buildings, and better factories.
You can look at the infrastructure built in a city up somewhere on a mountain and it will be far better than the latest infrastructure built anywhere in the US.
And of course, this is spelled out for you also by daddy Elon. Come on, homeboy, you need a better education, pronto.
