Under the current law of the United Nation Security Council, you can't just wage war and then occupy another country, even if there is a war. That's the only reason why Russia invasion of Ukraine is "illegal", otherwise it's totally legal to just wage war and take lands. Palestine territory that are recognized by the International Community is currently being occupied by Israel. I know why you think it's actually okay but that's not okay. The war in Ukraine is even more legal than what Israel is doing.
