  1. Well, maybe it was in hindsight but it should be obvious that determining the body count on both sides as a military victory is a mistake. You might have killed 4-5 times the number of combatants, but the enemies were willing to tolerate the 20 times the amount of loss, while you did not. Basically you lose because you have low pain tolerance, after all, it's not your home. Maybe you would have won if the American public tolerated 300 thousands dead troops rather than just 50 thousands, but that's not what your population decided. Blame your grandparents.
