  1. No, there's no Constitutional Clause forcing that. Merrick Garland was denied by the Senate, cry me a river, kid. Garland was nominated, they just didn't hold a hearing for him. The senate, performing it's duty, has rejected the President pick for the Supreme Court. Obama should have gone back and pick another person, but he didn't.

  3. It has always been assumed that the other nominee knew the simple answer. But hey, this is a new discovery, seemingly being a judge is not a proof of you being sane. This specific judge is either illiterate or corrupt. It's horrible either way
