If we go by your reasoning, we should've stopped the process of electrification the first accident involving electricity occurs and humanity would've never known what it's like to harvest the power of the sun in the palm of their hands.   3.  @EpsilonKnight2  There are many people who even if they possess a thermonuclear bomb, would not detonate it at all. However, you only need one insane guy out of an overwhelming majority of sane people to cause tremendous harm. That's the danger. The same is with greed.
