  1. The flag is a flag, the history of the state comes with that flag no matter what. The hypocrisy of rewriting history for the sake of "purity" is as dumb as it can get.

  2.  @reallifehack4790  Everything notable that happened is history, pal. It didn't want to keep slavery. It wanted to keep federal legislature off of intruding on people's right. Think about this, if you pay one million dollars for some slaves, your hard earned money through other means. Your forefathers money, and suddenly this investment of yours got stripped away by people from elsewhere. What does that sound like? United States, "United" States, pal. We're separate States that retained our own rights cooperating with each other towards a main goal. An intrusive federal government violated such principles.
