  1. That money is coming off consumers. Idiot! Consumers aren't short of products. They went to a cheaper source and so did the import companies. The point of tariffs is higher taxes, more revenue if they buy or they buy less and cause damage to the other guy. Nobody, except a moron, would buy Chinese goods if they have a better source. There are plenty plants in other Asian countries.
