  2. Easy, the half who say that it's great is the half of people who didn't have healthcare before and probably living off social welfare. The half who said that it's bad is the half that has to pay for those things because they live off their own with their own earnings, paying taxes to cover for those healthcare. Money doesn't grow on tree or fall from the sky. The single payer can work under utopian condition such as all people pay their fair share, which is impossible because 50% of Americans Household do not pay taxes.
