It didn't failed. It succeeded spectacularly until Sleepy Joe surrender and the country fell within a month. Don't confuse the two scenario. In Vietnam, the Americans suffered heavy losses while gaining no benefits back. But in Afghanistan, things were going smoothly and we can endure about 50 more years of it without a fuss.

Pal, even in the height of the Vietnam War, no Soviet troops or Communist China ever dare to attack the Americans. They're not going to start doing that now for a country that barely has any significant impact on them. You are naive.

@zedededdy8757 If there's a one on one war, America would always win, because if the war threaten the safety of America, she will spare no expenses and show no quarters, American military technology is far superior than any other country except the Russians. Fighting for sideline benefits, America might lose, because that benefits might not worth the sacrifices. But fighting for America safety, China and Russia can combine forces and they would be destroyed.

Yeah, you really shouldn't, pal. The tactics of the Vietnamese People was brilliant. Sacrifice as many people as possible to stall out the US forces and hope that they'll leave willingly. It's a contest of who has the higher body counts win.
