No, little kid. You can't make it happen, for one simple reason, your country doesn't have the money. For one thing, people like you don't have the money to cover for the cost of building and operating the trains even if you use it everyday. And the rest of the country has no interest in paying for something they will rarely, rarely use at a very high cost in terms of taxes.

@Squeenix1 Well yes, that's the irony of it. Military spending to Ukraine is actually a lot cheaper than building these high speed rails. Because the things you sent to Ukraine are things you already have, weapons you already owned. Those weapons were purchased using the tax dollars you've already spent or are going to spend either way. Building the high speed rails of this massive scale requires development from the ground up. Go learn some math, you'll see the difference.

@nunyabiznez6381 There are more than 200 sovereign nations in the world darling, and no, not nearly half of them changed to rail. The entire South East Asia section, Middle East, Russia, South America, Canada, they don't have high speed trains. Answer: Not necessary, unprofitable and nobody really need use of them. You think Americans are in desperate need to travel across states in a hurry? A few businessman going between states are not the same as the wish and need of dozens of millions of people who mostly live in self dependent community. You can live your entire life having your business in just one state, that's how vast America is, and that's how wasteful your land usage is, it's stupidity but it's your choice. How about you learn some math, kid.

@sean2015 And why would people do that? There are about 200 different cities in about 50 states that have a considerable number of people. At the top, except for New York city, they're all a part of California or Texas. Now, those railways, if they connect cities, it belongs to the state government to build the system there. Unless you're trying to connect New York and California, which is stupid, because not that many people need to travel between them everyday for you to have trains going across the country in a 15 hour ride every 30 minutes.

@nunyabiznez6381 Hey, genius, federal high speed rail is meaningless. You want to build one connecting New York to Los Angeles? How many people travel between them everyday? What's the purpose of this rail if people don't travel outside of their community that often? You want a system that nobody wants to use, that's stupidity. Due to the vastness of America, the federal project would cost about 20 times the cost of the Shinkansen, because the Shinkansen in Japan connect 6 cities. In America, there are about 50 different cities with roughly the same population density due to your sloppy urban planning and wasteful land usage. And furthermore, it cost much more but there will be less travelers on it, because each of those cities are self dependent community.

@jjoohhhnn Yeah, unproven theory. So why don't you risk your own money? Call up a bank, or a company that build this high speed rail, telling them of this magical demand and use your own money, or their own money to fund it? Like Electric Vehicles, if there's demand, you'll get a profit. Or is it you're too afraid? Build it and they will come business model went out of date 20 years ago.
