  1. The criticism is just desperately grasping for straw. For example, they ignore how Tesla is the front runner to full self-driving by a landslide that making such promises is totally justifiable. The Tesla original founders were losers, it was Elon who changed the company. When Elon took over, Tesla possessed absolutely nothing valuable compared to today, had those original founders were good, they can just start another company utilizing the same technology, like any other car brands are doing today. But they can't. Elon might not be the original founder of Tesla, but the leap Tesla took since Elon took over is miraculous by any means. Meanwhile, the "original founders" are living off the shares that Elon raises the prices for them.
