  1. America might need Israel, but Israel is also an Arpatheid State, these 2 things are both facts. Do you get that? There is no guarantee whatsoever that just because a country is an important ally to the United States means they're not comitting horrible crimes.

  2. This is the first time I see Vivek giving a totally wrong answer. Yes, Israel is an important ally, but what they're doing to the Palestinian people is a horrible crime, and it's totally not necessary. Because they're committing Arpatheid, systematic oppression of nearly 2 millions civilians that they occupied and remove from homes. Are they an important ally? Yes. Are they also committing heinous crimes under international law, also yes. It's not in America's best interests to support the crime of Israel, that's for sure. You support some of their government action, not all of their government action. Like any government in the world, there are bad sides and there are good sides.

Even in Monarchy countries like Saudi Arabia they don't commit these kind of crimes. It's not just ill treatment of some people, it's a systematic ill treatment of an entire race of people.
