Dude is caught and he's trying to jump ship. It's too late, buddy. It's not that he participated in the possible research that created the virus, with lacking biosafety levels that he was warned about. It's that he participated in the aftermath cover up by trying to hide the existence of that research from the people. Had some people not blown the whistle, nobody would've even known about this guy. If there will be fall guys, Fauci will be one and this guy will be second, you got paid the big bucks, you take the responsibility.
