@thomaspaine4670 Buddy, you're completely ignorant on the Vietnam issue. There is no South Vietnam or North Vietnam, there's one Vietnam people, they were supposed to be one people and the legitimate government is from the North, because those were the ones who toppled the French colonization of the territory and it was that government which is widely recognized as the most popular government of the country. Please don't confuse history with your Imperial Fantasy.

@thomaspaine4670 If you want the the quotes, I'll give you the quotes. Quotes from Americans, from Frenchmen, even British historians. That Northern government is the only government that arises out of the Japanese invasion and after the Japanese surrender in WW2, furthermore, it's the only government engaging in military conflict with the recognized Colonizers of the French Empire. Who do you think shall be more popular to an oppressed people? The side fighting Colonizers or the side literally siding with the Colonizers, even taking the old colonized flags as their symbol? It's not even remotely a fair fight. This is not Communist fantasy, this is actual history. Now did the Communist government do some seriously horrible stuff? Yes. But they did it way after you Imperialists budged in. The first Imperialists bunch was the French, and therefore that Southern Government has no legitimacy. They're literally established by and submit themselves to foreigners.

@thomaspaine4670 No, I and the overwhelming majority of global population presume that it's illegitimate because it's formed by colonizers. Unlike Vietnam, Korea was never colonized before the Imperial Japan invasion so the divide between North and South Korea is much more unclear, and both sides can claim legitimacy because both sides were created at the same time under the same framework. But in the Vietnam case, only one side can claim legitimacy because only one side stood up for their independence. Korea was never colonized by either the Americans or the Soviets or the Chinese. But Vietnam was colonized by the French, which makes whatever government the French set up becomes absolutely illegitimate in the eyes of the people. As if you're intentionally not understanding history or just lying about historical details to fit your fantasy. Get over it, buddy.

@thomaspaine4670 Buddy, it's getting increasingly clear how you have zero knowledge about both cases of Vietnam and Korea. Vietnam isn't Korea. Because Vietnam was colonized by the French long before the invasion of Japan, which sort of makes the French the completely illegitimate governance body. You can't keep ignoring or twisting historical details for your fantasy, pal. It's you Imperialists bunch vs about 90% of global population. North and South Korea was created at roughly the same time with equal standing fighting for control over unification. North Vietnam was created long before South Vietnam and it is North Vietnam that fought against colonizers to achieve full independence against the French. Do you see the difference there?

Sure, you Imperialists go with that argument, that a group of people doesn't have the right to self determination. But like I said, you're going to need a better argument. Go back to school, homie. This isn't the 1800s anymore, you go advocate for colonizers government in Vietnam now, or like anywhere that used to be a colony, they will beat you to death.
