  2. Bullet trains are not 1800s fam that’s current trains. In fact you have no way of proving this cause most Amtrak lines are simply too infrequent and slow to be practical. You can’t ride a train that doesn’t exist so there’s no way to truly know. You never entered the 21st century maybe if the revived lines were as bullet trains people would use them more. If it doesn’t run it can’t be used. If it’s slow it won’t attract people from buses if it’s schedule is useless then people will drive.

  7. Build HSR lines and route 80% of passenger traffic to them. China actually eliminated many passenger trains from freight lines and replaced them with HSR lines.

  12. And lack of lines. They need to reroute their trains to HSR lines or convert some lines slow trains don’t work in intercity rail networks.
