@werewolflover8636 well it’s bad but not US bad where you have rampant lunatics and drug addicts. Homelessness in Europe is mostly just an affordable housing issue alone BUT the US has no shame and it’s drug abuse and mental illness more than just lack of affordable housing. Neoliberal countries never recovered from 2008 China however did by doing a pro gamer move and turned new subways and HSR into a jobs program for the poor preventing a huge homeless problem. Unlike Europe China didn’t have extensive public transport systems back in 2008!!!! In fact they were a dilapidated hellhole now they are thriving. USA can do something similar but European countries will have to dig a bit deeper cause infrastructure won’t be enough
