Looks like USA can learn from China’s mistakes and create a perfected network if they decide to go with HSR maybe they should run them as through service regional rail lines in cities rather than build extravagant stations. Looks like it wasn’t the Chinese government that built the rail system but investors!!!!! Interesting. It is more financially feasible to build regional express rail lines than huge stations and have the high speed trains do like Japanese commuter trains unlike Japan China and USA don’t have incompatible tracks on local trains and can through run the HSR trains onto suburban regional lines . In Japan the narrow gauge means Shinkansen lines can’t save rural local lines with through running
