  1. I would have thought that the wheel sets would have been set to move at mathematically slower speeds as you get closer to the pivot, in a computer-controlled process. The way it actually works is so much different. The process is simpler than I thought, but INVENTING the way it works must have been Sisyphean until the actual breakthrough.
