  1. Immediately after might not be the right time to see how the product works, but perhaps a couple of hundred miles of engine time. If the cleaning was instant or very fast, it could send big flakes and chunks into the exhaust part of the engine, and possibly clogging the catalyst mesh in the converter(s). If the product assists in the slower breakdown of the deposits, it likely prevents causing damage. I don't work in the field, so my statements have a lot of conditionals.
