  2. I had what I thought was a dead battery or dead alternator problem once, and it turned out that leaving my cell phone charger plugged in was draining my battery over. Since I only drive my car every few days or so, it had plenty of time to do the draining. Unplugged the charger, got a jump start, ran the engine for about twenty minutes, and have not had problems with the battery in the three or four years since... (pardon, had to go knock on some wood)
