  1. I have been in a financial situation where I had to ask a tire shop to install junkyard tires on my car. They were very clear about the shortened life left on the tires, and that they refused to warranty the work for longer than one day and ONLY balance or filler stem issues. Those cheap sketchy tires lasted long enough for me to be able to go back to the tire shop and buy GOOD tires from them, that lasted around 60,000 miles.
