@11bornrich Some Aspen residents are still lucky enough to have inherited housing in the mountain town in which their family grew up. The rest have to commute hours to get to a job that barely pays enough for their share of housing and groceries. edit: Then there are the rich carpetbaggers...

@KenLee-e5y Least amount of fuel used per mile traveled (of currently available high-capacity transit)? Deisel-electric trains. Trains are also quieter than jets. Sure, there's a mountain range to tunnel through, but surely we can import some Irish and Chinese workers...

@piedpiper1172 Your historical insights are spot on. I was making a sly reference to the Aspen moneyed elite finding another group of people to take financial advantage of for their own enrichment and fulfillment.
